25 Mar 2008: European funding announcement - EUPHRESCO (Phytosanitary ERA-Net)
EUPHRESCO is an ERA-Net composed of 24 Partners (public bodies) from 17 European countries that are funding Phytosanitary (regulated/quarantine Plant Health) research. A joint pilot call was launched on 14 March 2008 for research proposals on five specific topics, funded by a 'virtual common pot' funding mechanism. Defra Plant Health Division are contributing funds to one of these topics, entitled: "Epidemiology and diagnosis of Potato spindle tuber viroid and other pospiviroids of plant health concern in relation to Solanaceae".
