15 Jul 2008: European Environment Funding - LIFE + Open for Proposals
LIFE+ is the only EU fund that targets just the environment and the total budget for the UK in 2008 is €16.5 million
The 2008 call for proposals for all three LIFE+ components was launched on the 15th July 2008. Applicants are provided with a four month preparation period to present project proposals to Beta Technology Ltd (acting on behalf of Defra) by the 21st November 2008.
*Please be aware that for Nature & Biodiversity projects only an A8 form must be submitted to your relevant Devolved Administration by the 1st October 2008 (click here for procedure and guidance).The selection process will then begin with the aim to have a final list of projects to be co-financed in July 2009.
