Food Standards Agency Funded National Contact Point Activities
Beta Technology is also supporting the Food Standards Agency in the provision of National Contact Point (NCP) services for Framework Programme 7 (FP7), Specifically, this free and confidential service is in relation to the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology theme, and it is aimed at consumer groups and enforcement bodies in the food and food related sectors. Activities include operating a FP7 helpline, provision of a dedicated web based information service, collation and dissemination of relevant research results from previous Framework Programmes, provision of one to one advice and practical support.
